In 2022, the domestic e-commerce transaction volume in Türkiye reached 800.7 billion lira, marking a year-on-year increase of 109%. During the same period, the number of orders increased by 43%, from 3.347 billion to 4.787 billion. Breaking down the transactions by industry, white goods and small appliances ranked first with a transaction volume of approximately 96.7 billion lira, closely followed by clothing, shoes, and accessories (54 billion lira) and electronics (45.9 billion lira). It is estimated that the e-commerce and market scale in Türkiye will continue to grow by 60% in 2023, reaching 1.2 trillion.

Overview of corrugated cardboard boxes in Turkey
土耳其目前共有91家瓦楞纸板企业(A、B类)，115家厂，120条瓦线，装机总量达到360万吨，2021年开机率达到78.4%。产能达到282万吨，548万平方米，土耳其每条瓦线平均产能达到2400吨，居中东首位。在120条瓦线中，宽幅1.6-1.8米共有67条，2-2.2米共有43条，2.5米及以上共有10条;3层板产量占总产量的53.21%(其中CBE楞为主要楞型，F楞的产量正在稳步提升，2021年时F楞纸板产能已经接近2万吨);5层板产量占43%，7层板产量占3.8%。
Currently, Turkey boasts a total of 91 corrugated board enterprises (categories A and B), 115 factories, and 120 corrugated lines, with a total installed capacity of 3.6 million tons. In 2021, the operating rate reached 78.4%. The production capacity reached 2.82 million tons and 5.48 million square meters, with an average production capacity of 2,400 tons per corrugated line, ranking first in the Middle East. Among the 120 corrugated lines, 67 are of a width of 1.6-1.8 meters, 43 are of 2-2.2 meters, and 10 are of 2.5 meters and above; the production of three-layer boards accounts for 53.21% of the total output (with CBE fluting being the main fluting type, and the production of F fluting is steadily increasing, with F fluted board production capacity nearing 20,000 tons in 2021); the production of five-layer boards accounts for 43%, and the production of seven-layer boards accounts for 3.8%.

In addition to corrugated board factories, there are approximately 150 third-tier carton factories (Type C) in Türkiye, with a monthly production capacity of 1,000-2,000 tons. Their main products include pizza boxes, tile and bathroom boxes, auto parts boxes, and transportation outer packaging boxes. Due to the product structure and the local minimum labor wage of $600, the standard equipment for third-tier factories in Türkiye is: one four-color printing line, one double-sided printing and stacking line with five colors, one fully automatic die-cutting machine, one fully automatic carton nailing machine, and an automatic waste removal line for the entire factory. Furthermore, there is a very special group in Türkiye, namely carton wholesalers, temporarily referred to as Type D enterprises. Their goal is to establish a carton printing factory after achieving monthly sales of 500 tons.
从厂房规模来看，5000平以下为C类厂，1万平为B类厂，3万平以上为A类厂，土耳其厂房面积普遍较大的原因就卡在了账期上，平均账期60天，最长120天，终端用户不仅卡帐期，还把中转仓库的压力给到了瓦楞厂。
From the perspective of factory size, factories with an area of less than 5,000 square meters are classified as Category C, those with an area of 10,000 square meters are Category B, and those with an area of 30,000 square meters or more are Category A. The reason why the factory buildings in Türkiye are generally larger is due to the payment terms. The average payment term is 60 days, with a maximum of 120 days. Not only do end users face payment delays, but they also put pressure on the corrugated board factories through the transit warehouses.

From the analysis of corrugated box types in Türkiye, standard boxes account for 47.5%, die-cut boxes for 33.4%, and cardboard for 19.1%.
